Dentsu Creative Isobar has won the digital and e-commerce mandate for Canon India’s Imaging Consumer Business (ICB). The mandate has been awarded at a time when the camera and imaging company is planning to double down on its digital commerce strategy.
As part of the expanded mandate, Dentsu Creative Isobar will be responsible for developing and executing Canon India’s digital and e-commerce strategy across media, consumer insights, data-led marketing, and digital retail.
Canon India is working to improve its engagement with digital-first generation. It is also seeking to improve its visibility and conversion on both online and retail channels.
As part of this goal, the agency will work to improve customer journeys, enhance brand recall, and lead to measurable business results through integrated media and commerce initiatives.
Vishesh Magoo, Assistant Director & Head of Camera Business Unit, Canon India, said on the development: “Our collaboration so far has been extremely encouraging, and we look forward to building on this momentum to deliver impactful campaigns, drive category growth, and create meaningful consumer experiences. With a sharper focus on integration across media and commerce, we are confident of unlocking stronger business outcomes together.”
Sahil Shah, CEO, Dentsu Creative Isobar, added: “We are excited to expand our relationship with Canon India and support the brand’s growth ambitions through a more integrated approach to media and commerce. As consumer journeys continue to evolve, the ability to connect creativity, data, and commerce seamlessly becomes increasingly important.”
