Forbes Top Creators 2026

The creator economy is reaching new heights. Forbes Top Creators 2026 list shows that the world’s 50 biggest digital creators raked in a combined $1.02 billion over the past year, heralding a new era in creator economy as it was the first time their collective earnings jumped past the billion-dollar mark. This figure is 20% higher than the last compilation in 2025, highlighting the role of creators on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other platforms as of leading entertainment and business leaders.

Creators today are no longer just posting videos online. They are also building media companies, launching consumer brands and signing streaming deals.

MrBeast once again topped the Forbes Top Creators list with an estimated earnings of $300 million. MrBeast’s popularity is driven by his viral challenge videos on YouTube, a property which he has transformed into a global business empire that includes media production, snack brands, analytics tools, licensing businesses and streaming content. His reality series, Beast Games, is topping charts on Amazon Prime Video.

Following MrBeast is Dhar Mann, who made $65 million last year. Mann is popular for his inspirational short films and oversees a team of around 200 people. While his digital shows get hundreds of millions of views weekly, his business is also thriving due to partnerships with major entertainment companies, including Fox Entertainment.

Entrepreneur and podcast host Steven Bartlett came in third with estimated earnings of $52 million. He is the host of The Diary of a CEO, who has transformed his interview series into a diversified business with podcasts, live events, publishing and investments, while continuing his role on Dragons’ Den.

Gaming creator Markiplier ranked fourth after earning $38 million. He successfully crossed into filmmaking with Iron Lung, a self-funded movie that performed strongly at the box office before becoming available worldwide through YouTube.

Comedy duo Rhett & Link were fifth with $37 million in estimated earnings. Their popular YouTube show Good Mythical Morning continues to be among top shows, while their Mythical brand has expanded into books, food content and new streaming platforms.

Social media star Charli D’Amelio ($18 million), comedian Druski ($20 million), IShowSpeed ($30 million), former NASA engineer Mark Rober ($30 million), and entrepreneur and business educator Codie Sanchez ($31 million) claimed the next five spots, respectively, on the Top 10 list.

The Forbes rankings show digital creators are increasingly reshaping the entertainment industry, while also building their own businesses, creating original content and developing global brands.

As audiences continue to shift towards digital platforms, creators are proving they are not just social media personalities but powerful entrepreneurs driving the future of entertainment.
