Entertainment tech firm Eloelo Group has appointed Rahul Nag as its Head of Brand Communications. Nag has been tasked with driving the group’s brand narrative and communications.
Nag wrote on LinkedIn that he joined the company around 45 days back.
The appointment has come at a time when the group is expanding its entertainment portfolio, including StoryTV, a vertical storytelling platform.
Eloelo Group is preparing itself for the next phase of entertainment, which will be driven by artificial intelligence, emerging formats and changing consumer behaviour. Nag called it the start of “Elotainment era”, where StoryTV will focus on premium vertical storytelling.
Nag has joined Eloelo Group after stepping down as Director of Brands, Communications and Partnerships at Pocket FM. He was with the firm for more than four years, and led its brand and corporate communications across India and the US. Nag played a key role in positioning Pocket FM’s ‘audio series’ as a separate entertainment category.
In the past, Nag has worked with ShareChat as Head of Communications, and with Mindtree as Head of Public Relations and Corporate Communications. He was also associated with Flock, Text100, HCL Infosystems, IPAN Hill and Knowlton, Adfactors PR and SAPRA India Foundation in various roles.
