Tuhina Pandey, a senior communications and marketing executive at IBM for Asia-Pacific, has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Marketing, for the region.
Pandey broke the news on the social media, and stated that she will collaborate with business leaders and partners as part of her elevated role to achieve growth across the region. Pandey said she would also work closely with clients to address their needs.
“This role sits at the heart of the client agenda: orchestrating the full breadth of IBM to solve our clients’ most pressing problems, and working closely with partners to scale impact across the region,” Pandey wrote.
“APAC doesn’t just fuel the world’s economic growth, it defines its anthropology. A set of diverse cultures, evolving trends, and a shared ambition,” she added.
Pandey has been associated with IBM for over six years now and was serving as Director – APAC Communications and CMO, India & South Asia, before her elevation.
After joining the company in 2020 as Communications Leader for India and South Asia, Pandey was promoted to the position of CMO & Director – Marketing and Communications, IBM India & South Asia, in 2023.
She was made Director – APAC Communications earlier this year.
In the past, she has work with Tech Mahindra as Head of Global Corporate Communications & Public Affairs.
Previously, she has also worked with companies like Ananto, Media Training Worldwide and her own communications venture, tuCom.
