Underdog Athletics, exclusive India distributor and licensee for Under Armour, has appointed Surya Kiran as Head – Marketing. In his new role, Surya will be responsible for driving the brand narrative of Under Armour in India as the most loved athletic performance brand, while simultaneously delivering on premium shopping experiences across retail and e-commerce.

Surya comes from a rich & diverse 11 years of experience spread across e-commerce, tech & FMCG categories. Prior to joining Underdog Athletics, Surya served as Head of Brand Marketing & Social Media at Infinix India – one of the fastest growing tech brands in the country, & helped build the brand from ground up. His expertise lies in consumer marketing, brand management, new product launches & go-to-market strategies.

Air India appoints Partha Ghosh as the head of global communications

Air India has appointed Partha Ghosh as the head of global communications. He joins the company after a nearly nine-year stint at Samsung. He had worked with the company for over nine years wherein he built a strong communications team. He redefined the communication for the company and helped it emerge as one of the most trusted brands in the country.

In the past, Ghosh has also held senior editorial positions at The Economic Times in Delhi and Ahmedabad. He also gained experience as a correspondent for media organizations like Business Standard, The Hindu Group, and The Telegraph during his early career.
