Abhay Kumar is a seasoned leader with a distinguished career spanning consumer-centric industries including real estate, luxury retail, and fintech. An alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, he brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to his new role at BPTP.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Kumar has spearheaded marketing and digital transformation initiatives at globally respected organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, DAMAC Properties, GE Capital, and innovative disruptors like Hotstar and Blue Tokai. His profound expertise in consumer behavior, digital engagement, and brand building has consistently delivered strong business outcomes and enhanced customer experiences.

At BPTP, Mr. Kumar will lead the company’s overall marketing strategy, brand positioning, digital outreach, and customer engagement. His appointment marks a significant step in the company’s continued efforts to embed a consumer-first mindset and drive sustainable growth in a competitive real estate market.

Gurugram, 25th April 2025: BPTP is pleased to welcome Mr. Rakesh Kaushik, who has joined as President – Legal, further strengthening our leadership team. With over three decades of domestic and international experience in corporate legal practice, Mr. Kaushik brings deep expertise in corporate laws, compliance, risk management, litigation strategy, complex contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, SEBI compliance, and corporate secretarial practices.

Mr. Kaushik has played a key role in formulating and implementing strategies and policies to enable smooth business operations and expansion within a risk-controlled framework. Throughout his career, he has advised boards on legal and regulatory risks, mitigation strategies, governance, and best practices across various sectors including Telecom, FMCG, Healthcare, and Infrastructure.

In his new role at BPTP, Mr. Kaushik will lead the company’s legal function. He will oversee litigation strategy and management, develop a robust compliance framework, drive risk mitigation initiatives, lead negotiations and contracts, and support key legal functions aligned with BPTP’s operations, expansion plans, and growth trajectory.

Before joining BPTP, he successfully led the legal and regulatory function at Max Healthcare Institute Limited as Director – Legal and Regulatory Affairs. One of his prominent stints was with Bharti Airtel Limited, where he led the legal and regulatory risk and assurance functions globally. He has also held key legal roles at Hindustan Unilever Limited, RJ Corp, American Tower (formerly VIOM), Usha International, and Artemis Medicare.
