Sarthebari, May 29, 2024: Pragjyotishpur University organised a felicitation ceremony in Sarthebari on May 27 for students who successfully cleared their HSSLC examination recently.
The ceremony in Sarthebari was organised at Sarukshetri Senior Secondary School, Belbari. The chief guest of the programme was Shri Somnath Talukdar, academician, and the guests of honour, Shri Manoranjan Baruah, Principal, Sarukshetri Sr. Sec. School, and Shri Harmohan Barman, journalist.
Meritorious students from across schools in Sarthebari and Tezpur were commended letters of appreciation to the tune of call-for-action addresses to them. Representing Pragjyotishpur University, Prof. Jogesh Kakati, Professor and Registrar at the University, called for the students to keep persevering.
Shri Talukdar called for student education with a focus on skills for endurance. Shri Baruah appealed for academic growth of the self but with a sense of service to society and the nation. Shri Harmohan Barman asked the students to keep themselves aware of the latest policies and trends concerning India’s educational scenario.
